Jennifer Hofmann is a Synchronous Learning Expert, and the president of InSync Training, LLC. In the eLearning field since 1997, she has experience using all of the major web-based synchronous delivery platforms.  Ms. Hofmann holds a Masters Of Education from Nova Southeastern University, with a concentration in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. 

Hofmann is a recognized thought leader in the field of synchronous learning.   She is the author of The Synchronous Trainer’s Survival Guide: Facilitating Successful Live and Online Courses, Meetings and Events (Pfeiffer, 2003), Live and Online! Tips, Techniques, and Ready-To-Use Activities for the Virtual Classroom (Pfeiffer, 2004), and How To Design For The Live Online Classroom: Creating Great Interactive and Collaborative Training Using Web Conferencing (Brandon Hall, 2005).  Additionally, she is a chapter contributor to The Handbook of Blended Learning (Pfeiffer, 2006), The AMA Handbook of E-Learning (The American Management Association, 2003), and The ASTD Handbook for Workplace Learning Professionals (ASTD, 2008).  She is currently co-authoring Tailored Learning: Designing the Blend That Fits (ASTD, 2009), a book focused on taking advantage of distributed technologies to create the best blended training solution possible.

Nanette Miner, Ed.D is a Master Facilitator for InSync Center and Design Team Leader for InSync Training. Nanette has been the chief architect of learning solutions for premier companies in a variety of industries, including: financial services, insurance, broadcasting, manufacturing, engineering, telecommunications, retail and publishing. Learning systems have driven measurable results in areas such as sales, leadership development, strategic planning, financial management, customer service, project management, technical skills and construction. Nanette is a widely sought-after speaker on the latest trends in learning, measuring business results, leveraging limited learning and development resources for maximum business impact. She has also written dozens of articles as well as authoring or co-authoring a number of books. A recent publication is ''The Synchronous Training Primer'' audio CD with co-author Jennifer Hofmann. Nanette, has a doctorate in adult learning theory, a master's in training and organizational development, and a bachelor's in business & communications.

Kassy LaBorie is a Master Facilitator, Producer, Instructional Designer, and platform technical expert at InSync Training. As a Senior Trainer and mentor at WebEx for 5 years, she helped build the WebEx University and create classes covering all topics including Foundations to Best Practices. A Star employee at WebEx, her collaborations regularly received recognition internally as well as from organizations such as STC, The Society for Technical Communication.

Training from her office in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, home to more shades of the color green than one could imagine, she allows us to expand our time zone offerings for the Synchronous Learning Expert certificate programs. With a passion for effective online facilitation and a love of helping people discover new ways to succeed, she brings a wealth of knowledge and ambition to the classes offered here at InSync. And when asked what message she most wants to send to all synchronous trainers: “Please stop muting phone lines and reading slides! Let’s create a Safe and Fun learning environment by allowing the group to do what a group does best…Collaborate!”

Karen Vieth, M.ED is a Synchronous Facilitator and Producer for InSync Training.  Karen has been a leader in providing online learning solutions for the past seven years working with professional development teams across the nation.  Karen came to InSync with a vast knowledge base working with both children and adults.  Her passion is coaching and mentoring others to lead engaging synchronous training sessions and is our in house expert in "teachbacks".    Karen holds a  Master’s Degree  in  Educational Leadership  with an emphasis in curriculum and design and a Bachelor's Degree in  Elementary Education .

Jacqueline Ferras - Expert Synchronous Producer

Jacqueline Ferras is a Synchronous Producer and Facilitator for InSync Training with over 7 years of online training experience as well as 5 years classroom training.  Jacqueline enjoys working with clients to help produce their sessions in order to ensure the most successful, interactive, and collaborative sessions possible.  Her background is in education and she holds a degree in English Literature.  Having had to travel in her past work to deliver face to face training, she is thrilled to be able to provide online learning solutions from her home in Atlanta, GA.

Jane Bozarth - Master Facilitator

Jane Bozarth is a Synchronous Learning Expert and a Master Facilitator for InSync Training. She has been a training practitioner since 1989. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Jane has a Master’s degree in Training and Development/Technology in Training from NC State University, and is presently finishing her doctorate in Adult Education/Training and Development.

Rebecca Rhea - Instructional Designer

Becky Rhea, E-Learning Designer and Producer, has over 20 years of experience designing instruction (online and face to face) for both adult and K-12 learners. Her career evolved from developing educational software for children; to building e-learning professional development for teachers; to creating blended corporate training programs.

Becky’s e-learning experience continues to evolve. In addition to her instructional design work, she has taken on the role of Synchronous Producer. This experience has both confirmed and provided a new perspective on the importance of monitoring and supporting learning.
