Designing Blended Learning

Blended learning is more than a menu of delivery options; it is a shift in our profession. It takes time and effort to be successful at blended learning. This one-day workshop supports this shift.

The phrase “Blended Learning” has been in existence for 40 years, but most training which is labeled as “blended” really isn’t. Generally, 'blended' programs are one topic offered in numerous ways, or a hodge-podge of different training offerings under the same topical umbrella. The focus is too often on the delivery medium, and not on the content.

Using their own organizational course content, participants will work throughout the day to design the best blended learning solution; ensuring that their participants not only receive a quality deliverable but that the organization is using its time and resources most wisely.  A reusable decision tool will be taught and utilized throughout the workshop.

Creating Live Online Learning
This three-day onsite program is an intense workshop for up to twelve designers and trainers. Focused on synchronous design and delivery techniques, Creating Live Online Learning goes far beyond the "point and click" navigation basics. Participants will leave the program having designed and delivered a highly interactive synchronous program. Our InSync Training facilitator will provide individual coaching throughout this hands-on program. In addition to their participant workbook, participants will receive a copy of The Synchronous Trainer's Survival Guide and Live and Online! Tips, Techniques, and Ready-To-Use Activities for the Virtual Classroom.

Synchronous Trainer’s Survival School
Has your team just been thrown into synchronous training and needs to get the basics under their belt to help them? Then the Synchronous Trainer’s Survival School is for you. This one-day workshop will put you on the fast track towards creating and delivering successful learning events right out of the gate! In addition to their participant workbook, participants will receive a copy of the book The Synchronous Trainer's Survival Guide.

eLearning Train-The-Trainer
eLearning is not a trend, it is a shift in our profession. Combining classroom learning with a series of on-line sessions, this unique train-the-trainer program is an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the technology and techniques for successful eLearning programs. This blended workshop provides a hands-on experience that will enhance your eLearning sessions. Also available as an educational/fundraising opportunity for professional organizations.

Blended Learning Train-The-Trainer
You’ve got all the training technologies you could want, why aren’t your blended initiatives meeting your goals? InSync Training’s Blended Learning Train-The-Trainer explains the basics and provides the strategies for success, all the while modeling a truly blended learning experience. Eight live online sessions (two-hours each) are blended with asynchronous discussions and activities and supplemental materials.
