InSync Cancellation Policy

InSync reserves the right to cancel programs that do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements. In the event a program must be cancelled we will work with learners to move their enrollment to a future offering. A refund will be issued if rescheduling is not possible for the learner in this case.

Learner Reschedule/Refund Request
If a learner realizes that he/she is unable to meet the attendance requirements of a program:
  • Transfer their enrollment to a future offer of that program at no additional charge.
  • Transfer their enrollment to another person in their organization, if the first class session of the program has not yet commenced.

Once materials have been delivered (including electronic learner/participant guides, textbooks, and other materials) a full refund cannot be provided. A partial refund (75%) will be offered if the participant is not able reschedule to participate within 6 months of the original enrollment. No refunds are offered after 6 months.

A request for a transfer/refund must be made before scheduled class sessions are complete.

Attendance Policy

Learners are asked to make a commitment to come to all the scheduled live lessons.  However, we know circumstances may require a missed class occasionally. For that reason, each live lesson is recorded. If a program allows for a missed live lesson, learners will be required to watch the recording and answer discussion questions as a “make-up” intersession assignment. Please note that certain programs do not allow for missed live lessons or make-up assignments.

If a learner misses more sessions than allowed by particular program, InSync Training will work with the learner to have them attend another offering either already in progress or during the next 12 months. Arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Note that both the recorded and live sessions are meant for the enrolled learner only and are not to be shared with others.

Self-directed work

Learners enrolled in certificate programs should expect approximately 1 – 2 hours of independent work that could be comprised of reading, discussion postings, and designing collaborative exercises in between the live sessions. Self-directed work, including all discussion postings, is a requirement for the certificate. Additionally, it is requested that learners review postings by their peers/classmates and engage in active discussion with them.

InSync Training assesses a fee of $250 should a learner not meet the submission deadlines or performance requirements for each certificate, yet still wishes to pursue the certificate.
